Well, I doubt whether Microsoft has the expertise to challenge google. coz in if need to find some information even about their own company, I have to use google. 9 times out of 10 searches their own Live Search engine returns “no document of this description found”, and google finds the information I want in the fraction of seconds

can’t say at the moment. Will say when i will use it. from my side the benefit of doubt to Microsoft coz anything can happen today. and yes if Google has proven its worth so does microsoft. what i feel is Bing is going to have to blow people away, because it’s going to have to be perceived as better than Google. That sounds like a tall order. It can’t just be Google’s equal, or this is going to be a colossal waste of $100 Million. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

one shouldn’t expect too much from Microsoft. they are good in making XPs and all and it is beyond their reach to take over google. I don’t know what they are planning to outdo goole but after microsoft’s unsuccessful bid to buy yahoo to give challenge google as the most favored search engine. I think now they should understand that it’s over and they will never be able to overpower google.

bing will replace google!!!!! WTF!! even if i need to search this new thing, i have to Google it coz google is being synonomis with search is embedded in the mindsets of most internet users. Going from “Google It” to “Bing It” ain’t gonna be that easy.

Microsoft is completely wasting their money. Goggle has become synonymous with searching online, and no company is going to touch that unless they either offer a vastly superior product (which I highly doubt), or Google does something to sour their relationship with its customers (which I also highly doubt).

Will be interesting to watch. Microsoft can only emulate. They never innovate. When they emulate, they release an inferior version of what they tried to copy. They have no creativity, and no class. They make really third rate products.

Google does need a competitor, but I can’t think of something that is offered by it and could be improved right now. I don’t think that Microsoft will come up with something revolutionary, so probably we will still be dominated by Google for some more years (although I like all the features that it provides...)

there’s no way that Microsoft can end Google’s dominance. MS Bing is just a pretty looking interface or lets just say it looks far better than Google but it can not replace my habit of using google for an search.

Explained very simply that we are in a habit to use google 1st word that comes to our mind when we thing of internet is ‘Google’.
