As a woman I would love this and I trust my man completely.

I think this is a great development for men to be able to take control of their own fertility. Now men as well as women will be able to reliably prevent pregnancy to the best of their abilities. Especially in a long term relationship messing with condoms is.... well messing about.

I agree but in the conservative countries, i doubt how many men will agree to get these injections. Its hard to convince men here.

While i see this medical break through as a boon to females as it has asked the male counterpart to share the burden of avoiding unwanted pregnancies but i think it is mostly for the partners who are in a permanent relationship and not for the ones who look for casual sex or one night stands. So saying that this measure will increase STDs and lower the use of condoms, does not seem valid to me.

I don’t think that it would increase the risk of STDs because people will keep on taking measures to prevent such diseases but yes this can be an additional benefit for Indians to control the population of this country and according to me should be made mandatory for all men till the time their wives demand a child.
