Ban on street Children makes perfect sense. Parents send their children to beg on the street and make money rather than go to school. Maybe these type of bans(so it’s less tempting to go and beg) in combination with some other social programs can help the poor and the destitute in Mexico.

well don’t be pessimist. coz the authorities finally turn attention to society’s most vulnerable, attempting to provide children a dignified life of classrooms, and a pleasure time something that they are pretty unaware of or never enjoyed in their lives.

Mexico already leads the league in corruption, kidnapping, rape, murder etc. Banning the street children is not going to add much more.

this program is sheer nonsense. do they have idea that according to 2004 study carried out with UNICEF, some 108,917 children are at risk, living on the streets in Mexico. if the authorities will failed to put them all from streets to government social service agencies, they will be ruined. coz the police will not allow any of them to step out in the street to earn something for them and in that condition they will rot in hunger. can govt ensure that they have ample space to the mammoth number? or else leave this thing for the sake of showing your concern only

ban non street children makes sense since they are the most vulnerable section of the society. they are the soft targets for the gangsters who exploit them for their own purpose. this will not only curb the drug trafficking but will do a great deal of good to the children who are devoid of everything.

How will banning help?

The children should be provided with what they deserve at this age. Education and games. Parents cannot do that so how would the problem be solved.

Yes it will....children who are working on the streets will not get to do anything if removed from there. No one will send them to schools...this is the incomplete solution
