AP by cracking down on use of its content by bloggers is stifling the internet revolution. It is trying to create a scenario of media only for a few, not for all.

I unreservedly condemn these steps by AP. If it wants to make more money, I am sure there are thousand and one other ways of doing so.

Blocking free access to bloggers is a shoddy way of doing things. Learn from Google, AP. It has become a massive giant by giving unprecedented facilities (all free) to bloggers.

AP is going the wrong way.

AP must be charged for gaining entrance in any form of press conference not to miss, the people must ask for payment when the same (AP) wishes to quote what someone says.

Internet is the only platform that synchronizes different view points and there is possibility that this kind of move may create monopoly among the hands of a few.

Why does not the Associated Press, a premier news agency in the world realise that encouraging piracy is productive to the item, brand or organisation who fall victim to the old game of piracy.

If the AP allows free links to its news products, such a move would enhance the number of eyeballs to the AP news feeds. Microsoft succeeded in thwarting the legitimate attempts by the Linux to present itself as the rival to the Microsoft and that too free. Microsoft, in fact, encourages piracy of its software programmes, making them more tempted.

Internet is the only medium in the history of civilization that the commonest of the people can read what the people world over are saying. Similarly he can write his views to an unversal audience.

It is nothing sort of a revolution as far as individual rights are concerned. Now money is going to stifle that breath of fresh air.
