Well, it’s still to see whether the evidences are concrete or is it just a mirage? What I mean is a proven landing on the planet would be evocative of it’s presence. At the present point of time, we can’t be sure.

Water on Mars might have an effect on the life of mankind but not for atleast the present generation in anyway. Hence I tend to disagree.

How is it going to change our lives? Even if there are traces of water on the planet, they are no flowing streams that could sustain life in present form. Moreover our present technology is in no way competent enough to colonize another planet in any way, be it transportation, adaptability, recreation of sustainable eco-system and other things necessary. Let us first step on the planet, then think about it.

Yes, of course! Water on Mars will definitely change our lives, though only till the extent of giving us another foddeer to feed our brains. Because, as Mr. Sameer Attitude Kumar has rightly pointed out, we are way too behind technologically, to enjoy the benefits of the water on Mars.

Maybe in a couple of millions of years, we’ll be able to set our foot on Mars, but then again, I don’t think our own planet will shelter us that long.

So, the most we can expect from this watery issue are some changes in the plot of Hollywood films (obviously, water on Mars definitely calls for a total recall!) and some lame claims from the scientists.
