Dozens of topless women and their men supporters march along Central Park South to celebrate ‘National Go-Topless‘ Day in Manhattan. Organizer of the march, Sylvie Chabot, told the crowd at a midday rally at Columbus Circle: “We’re all here for the same reason - to allow women to be free in the park like men”. Organizers gathered signatures for a petition asking Congress to relax nudity laws, which they plan to hand over on Go-Topless Day next year. Now the question remains: Should women’s right to go topless in Public be supported? How much do you think it will help bring the gender equality?

How does it matter?

This is useless. You just can't walk around naked in the parks and attract every tom, dick and harry towards you. No way!
This is not gender equality but mere shamelessness. Women have gone completely out of their senses.
That's why we say Sharia is important in the world. People are going nuts in the name of freedom and equality.
Mankind was born Nude, the body is a beautiful gift to nature and all life here,why do humans find there own skin disgusting?They must hate themselves!We were all born to be Free!
They have colonies..beaches..where they can certainly be with those who are like minded..I just don't think public parks..streets are the place to do this..
I see this as woman being liberated, we are the kids of the woman who burned bars in the 60's, remember, so shocking isn't enough for us, we really want to make our statements to be heard!
i think it should be the choice of individual on what to wear or not to wear at all. legalising homosexuality, didn't make everyone gay. similarly, legalising nudity, won't mean all will be roaming naked.
This is an utter shame to the womanhood. What values will you people pass on to your next generations?
i am very much agreed with that but after that rap cases are going to be at the top
Going topless is just baseless if they are talking about gender equality, there are other things for which they can go beside this
