In order protect the emerging market economies as engines of global growth; there is a firm need to stem the global financial crisis. For that matter, Alistair Darling has urged fellow finance ministers prior to G7 meeting to press ahead immediately with international efforts to prop up the ailing banking sector. He also said that if we do not fix the banks, we won’t be able to fix the economy. Therefore, will global clean-up of banks help fix the economies worldwide?
