With doping scandals becoming a routine, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), IOC and other authorized agencies are in quandary what to do. IOC drugs chief, Arne Ljungqvist accused Russia of systematically doping after seven athletes were suspended for being part of a ‘doping ring’. India’s weightlifter, Monika Devi, tested positive yesterday. IOC is urging countries to sign anti-doping convention.

No, doping can never be completely erased from the sports world. Because the players take it to enhance performace. And everytime they think that it would not be examined by the tests taken befor the game. So the drugs will only change its form, but will not perish completely. when the competition is top, the chances are incresed.

Unless very stringent action is taken, doping will never be out.It is just like corruption. Is it possible to totally wipe out corruption from this world?

I don’t think, doping can ever be erased completely because it is up to the individual and not a single organisation to look for.

Doping was always with sports and will continue to be with sports. What was undetectable yesterday is detectable today. That doesn't mean what is undetectable now doesn't exist. It is a constant challenge for WADA to detect newer and more sophisticated methods of doping.
