Every now and then, we hear about girls auctioning their virginity for some reasons or the other. It was just two months ago we heard about an American student, Natalie Dylan, opening bid for her virginity to pay university fees. Now, it’s Ecuador born Spanish resident Evelyn Duenas who has put her virginity for auction. She is doing so to pay for her mother’s care who is suffering from Alzheimer. Is auctioning virginity an easy way out for earning quick bucks? Should auctioning virginity publiclly be banned and sites for the same as well?

Whether it is right or wrong but we can't ignore the spirit of the lady. As a woman she is ready to make greatest sacrifice for her mother.
I think it depends on the cultural values of the person doing it. Being an Indian I’ll say NO !
Being an Indian you will definitely say no as the Indian women are still not fully liberated. They are not free to take their decisions themselves. They are bound by the so called values although one might have been facing the starvation.
Many of us are liberated and with our liberated and resourceful minds we say that we have more to sell than our virginity !
I can’t understand how long this virginity myth will continue and how long will men continue fooling themselves with the same. However, It’s the easy way out, I’d add surely. They have the privilege to sell their virginity and fools are there to spend billions…no one considers or asks the male virginity… alas….it’s of no value in this world where dog bites dog.
Baning the auction or the site wont stop it, if not in public they will do it in pvt. Some agents/middlemen will become richer thats the only differnce. If there is a seller there will be a buyer!
Though public auction of virginity shouldn't be allowed but nothing is bad if some one does so secretively. Every man and woman is free to do what ever he or she wants to do with his/her body.
As long as the myth that there is anything special about virginity continues, women will continue to be viewed as nothing more than a commodity.
Think about it, that virginity lasts less than 3 seconds and then she is no longer a virgin. With the surgery to reattach hymens, even a 50 year old mother of 7 can be a virgin. You just have to take her word for it that she is and you have to wonder how many times she has already sold it.

I had to laugh at your comment as I am an over 50 year old mother of seven kids, and may be thinking of reconstructive surgery, and could well do with a holiday.
I think why not - at least these girls place a value on themselves better than just giving it away but it is becoming old hat now so the price should start dropping, and the fools can rush in to grab a bargain!

Kelly dear, there is nothing special about it, really there isn’t, it is just a very small piece of mucous membrane that is left over when the vaginal opening is formed during gestation.
There is nothing supernatural, mystical or magical about it.
Those men are just stupid and pathetic that is why they are willing to pay huge amounts of money for it. They probably spend ten times that amount on porn and hookers every year.

As a matter of fact the surgery that tightens the vaginal walls prevents incontinence in later years by shortening the muscles of the pelvic floor. Hell, why wait when you can enjoy the benefits now? Lol
Speaking of the price dropping!!! We laughed like crazy when we read an article about bordellos lower the prices because of the sluggish economy. Having a clearance sale on nookie! ROTFL! Not that THAT has a long shelf life to begin with, but seriously, shopping for it in the discount bin!!!! Blue light special.. or red light special in this case? Scratched and dented sale???? Come on!

Americans in particular place much importance on things that can be best served by leaving them to their own devices. And in a world that still remains somewhat patriarchal, women are generally viewed by men as possessions or commodities.
Well, obviously we too are viewed by some women as hunks, studs and boy toys, but the shallow and vain aside, there is still much that humanity lacks in social equality between the sexes. It is sometimes easier to forgive an enemy of his political or religious differences when sharing a common ”bond” in the exploitation of women.
Now to be fair to those women who enjoy being exploited, while it may be exotic and erotic, it does feed the fires in more than one way when dealing with the male of the species. Being the first one to deflower a virgin is taught at a very young age to males, as being a very special thing. And of course many of us guys will just want to be special again and again. Just another conquest?

"Women who enjoy being exploited". Is there any body on this earth who like to be get exploited. These women are doing this out of compulsion.
Being the first one to deflower the virginity of a women is taught at very young age to males and no body questions the virginity of those males. Why is it so that every time it's only the virginity of women for sale? Why not the same condition for men?
