India :

As per the latest reports, at least 101 people are dead and 287 injured in the terror attacks in Mumbai. This is the 8th time India is rocked by deadly terror attack in seven months. Has the government failed completely to make India a safe place to live? Should Army take over the security of the country in wake of the fact the police machinery too has failed completely to deliver?

Repeated intelligence failure is really not a good sign for the future of India. I don’t understand that why can’t they perform their duties well. If the army has to take charge of the situation or the citizens have to stay alert all the time then what are they paid for?

Indian police is competent enough to fight the battle against terrorism. But the problem is that they are not playing their role seriously. Whatever may be the reason behind this but they need to understand that ultimately our nation will suffer in various ways due to such attacks.

Yes, the army should take over the government of India and take some actions against the corrupt people involved in the incident. Im sure such an attack cannot happen without the support of the internal security members.

Its not he problem with the police, It’s the problem with the system and corrupt politicians who play any dirty game for their personal benefit (election). Mumbai Police are capable enough to handle them.
Indians should cooperate with them for Random Security checks to avoid such things in future.
When people feel insulted/annoyed being checked publicly, possibility of such incidences cannot be ruled out. I think public should be alert and cooperate more with the cops.

Our country is a soft target for terrorists actually there r number of valid reasons for it.One such is POLITICS...others r weak home defence system, corruption among the burecreacy,Weak police force,Poor Social Security provided by the private securities agencies. Unless Politician come out of ”VOTE BANK” policy...nothing can happen in reality.People will die this way....its actually bad that our brother and sisters r getting slaughtered by small ”FEARFUL TERRORIST” groups and GOVTOF INDIA does nothing except to say...to remain calm and all...The best way to tackle this problem has been clearly highlighted in the movie ”A WEDNESDAY” People should come out from their home...we should hang all the terrorist or related in terrorist activities then only...these events will reduce. AS we aint AMERICA so we cannot eliminate it but certainly can reduce it by removing the bottlenecks in the system
