With nuclear-packed superpowers thriving, every nation is seeking the nuclear expertise. After India, Pakistan and N. Korea did it successfully, now it’s Iran, Syria, to name a few, in the line to have nuclear warheads. Nukes are the last resort of defense. Many countries feel it necessary to have one in order to get respect and protect their interests in the world that is dominated by those a few who already possess the nuclear technology.

yes before india did is no one was that much serious in knowing what india is and where does it stand. but when they did it now the world know that they are the power to be recon with. it becomes necessary in the world at the moment to be powerful in order to protect your interests.

the small nations are the threat to the world peace is an abhorred logic. it's nothing more than a crap by west and US in particular to save its nuclear hegemony. they are more fearing to loose their dominance than to be worried about a nation who has not even the same nuclear weapon that US used 65 years ago.

i never say the small nations are the threat to the world peace. But the likes of Iran who is only perusing the nuclear power to use it against humanity is surely to be put off from the track. will it bring Iran respect to drop one in the israeli backyard and kill thousands or say millions just in a splash. that is why they are they axis of evil

well i doubt if it is so. having nuclear technology and your ppl are dying of hunger makes no sense. there are countries in the world who do not have the nuclear powers but still they are doing well in the fields of economy and providing the job. For me being prosperous and everybody having the job and high life standard makes more sense than to possess the weapons that will do no good to anyone but will only bring the destruction.

Yes, undoubtedly, it is. Nuclear power means the might to dictate terms upon others, making them think the way you want them to, and finally dominating others and establishing yourself forcefully.

yea true desh. that is what the US is fearing to lose, the power to dictate terms and forcing them to comply with their wishes no matter how much they lose. so just kick them off!!!that is what they deserve.

Like any other form of energy it can be used and misused.
A gun in the hand of a monkey is always dangerous and imagine what would happen if the Taliban takes over control of Pakistan’s Nuke warheads.
