Coalition of willing is gradually disappearing from Iraq. This time US’s biggest ally Britain bids Iraq adieu nearly after six years. The military campaign, which began in 2003 with the invasion of coalition forces, struggled hard against militants to restore peace and stability. Nonetheless, Iraq is far form having these. In such crucial times when Iraq seems to rejuvenate, what British troop withdrawal means to you?

Have we lost the Iraq War?

Six years, and we still have not been told why this war was fought. We were told WMD, but this was soon exposed as a sales job rather than a sincere concern. We need an enquiry to clarify the motives, goals, objectives, price (in monetary, human, and world standing terms), and return on investment. Why did we embark on this war and what did we achieve?

It’s our interests that guide our actions. Why not other countries like Congo Or Zimbabwe get requisite attention even as they are on the verge of total collapse because of bad governance ?America’s concern is ’selective’ in nature.

Iraq needs troops there till the time it does not get ready to fight for itself and make enough stand globally

I was totally against going into this war, but I'm even more strongly against pulling out now that we are there.
We have created a power vacuum that will leave even more innocent people dead if we walk away, and it is our responsibility to fix the mess we have caused. I support our troops even if our government doesn't.
