This is nothing but a publicity stunt by the High Court to attract some attention from the West. I don't have anything against gays. But don't we have bigger issues than this?

Legalize the gay sex? There are so many other things which people will demand to be legalized after this judgment. Will the court do so?

There is no homosexuality in India, it's part of Western culture. The legalizing of homosexuality means that we are losing our Indian identity. That's not a good decision because it will increase the immorality in our country.

I think homosexuality is a sickness affecting men and women, that is increasing these days in our affluent materialistic society.

Indian court legalized the homosexuality? I think any homosexual act without the consent of either partner still remains a criminal offense.

yea, I wouldn’t want to be gay either and I am glad that my genetic material combined in such a way that all my parts worked as a single specific gender.

Lots of people are not so lucky.

As a teacher for many years, I saw children that were obviously not 100% the gender that they appeared to be.

It was more boys than girls. Since I also knew their families, I knew that none of the siblings displayed any abnormal traits so it wasn’t a matter of upbringing.

It was very painful to see excruciatingly effeminate boys being badgered by their very masculine fathers at sporting events. Or girls with very wide shoulders and manly gates shoved into frilly dresses and paraded around.

Most of the ’odd’ children did turn out to be gay even if they did learn how to appear ’normal’ in their later years.


It was only about half a dozen out of the thousands of kids I taught over the years, but I would really hate to think that were destined to be mistreated all of their lives for something that happened at conception.

I don’t know if they all start out this way or if it is a choice for some and not others.

Either way, if it wasn’t a criminal offense then they might seek medical treatment earlier reducing the spread of AIDS.

Gay Men might not marry women for appearances only, which might save the women from getting those diseases and possibly passing them on to the newborns.

I am trying to see the bigger picture here, that is all.

I’m happy that you are in teaching profession. You shouldh have Child Psychology,and Educational Psychology. Have you not come across the Infantile Sex Urge in the tender age of 3 to 7 years old? They have instinctual odd urges of sex. Parents must be generously teach them in proper context and percept instead of keeping it a taboo.
Another defect is hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. In the former,the subject is obese or gigantic stature. In the latter,the subject is dwarf. I wish to clip a news that I have come across. Please see how the ordeal of the natures defective births:

Nuya,eunuchoidism is quite unfortunate as other congenital defects. There are hundreds of birth defects which cannot be treated.

If a promiscuous male happens to have sex with a prostitute,or homosexuals and has valid(inseminative) intercourse with his wife (or concubine/s)there is possibility that the conceived gravid fetus may be defective anatomically,neurologically and metabolically. These are man made curse.

Since most of my career has been spent with special needs children, I have seen more than my fair share of abnormalities. There is a privacy act in the US, so teachers of special needs children have to just guess what condition the child has unless the parent wishes to divulge that information. Most parents will not tell even when the condition requires special attention that might be life threatening. Like Prader-Willi syndrome where the child will actually eat themselves to death if not stopped. For a long time I thought that he was just fat.

Of those children that I suspected of having gender abnormalities, only 1 was confirmed by the parents and very reluctantly. I had complained repeatedly to school authorities that a child was being tormented by the other students. When they refused to do anything about it, I called the child’s parents and told them of my concerns. Only then was I told that the child had been born a hermaphrodite. Surgery had been done shortly after birth and the parents chose male as the gender to retain. He was displaying very feminine traits that set him up as a target for the bullies in the school.

All I am sayings is that we cannot always know the reasons why people behave as they do. I am not advocating that normal people choose to engage in homosexual acts. I am just saying that it is not fair to punish the ones who had no choice.

Yeah...there are another very important issue neglected, like "men harrasment"

Human Rights are confined to certain extent only. Right to live,Right to Speak,Right to Express....so on so forth..quite Okay! Right to kill....? It is criminal,either you kill directly or indirectly...it is culpable and cognizant offence. Homosexuality drives more HIV/AID than any other source so far known.....a source to kill others.
That too inch by inch. Cancer too can be argued in the same way but it is not contageous. There is no carrier in the cancer. Pollution may be the threat in carcinogens. But it is an universal threat.

They would not go to the doctor before because they could be arrested for being gay. Now, they can go to the doctor without fear, get treatment and counseling on how not to spread it. But really, there are probably more heterosexual people with aids anyway.
