Recession has forced people for showing restraint over money and possessions. A life with less wealth, less sex and more self-imposed discipline has become more attractive because of the economic downturn. Not only this, the present financial crisis has dealt a heavy blow to the idea that human fulfillment can be thought about just in terms of material growth.
